DHS Human Trafficking Youth Forum

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month (HTPM), and U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign will be hosting a virtual Human Trafficking Youth Forum.

Caretakers and Adults who work with youth are invited to attend this webinar to hear from experts in the human trafficking and youth space. Featured speakers and panelists include representatives from U.S. Department of Justice, National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), National Human Trafficking Hotline – Polaris, Love 146, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Presentations and panel discussions will involve:

  • Youth and online safety

  • Online human trafficking case study

  • Human trafficking trends and how they affect the youth population

  • Criminalization of youth victims

  • Victim Assistance Program

  • Available resources for youth and individuals working with youth
