Panelists will be:

Abigail English, JD is a lawyer, researcher, and advocate for the rights of vulnerable young people. Since 1999, she has directed the Center for Adolescent Health & the Law in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. From 1976 to 1998, she was an attorney at the National Center for Youth Law in San Francisco, California. Her research and advocacy have focused on health insurance and public financing of care for adolescents and young adults, consent and confidentiality protections, sexual and reproductive health care, and human trafficking. She is a member of the Board of Directors of HEAL Trafficking and Chair of the HEAL Trafficking Advocacy Committee.

Jordan Greenbaum, MD is a child abuse physician in Atlanta, GA.  She has worked in the field of child maltreatment for over 20 years.  She is the medical director of the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and the medical director of the Institute on Healthcare and Human Trafficking at the Stephanie Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  She co-chairs the Education/Training committee for HEAL Trafficking, an organization of medical professionals working on human trafficking issues.  

Chethan Sarabu MD is board certified in pediatrics and clinical informatics. During his fellowship at Stanford Medicine he led the rollout of OpenNotes for pediatric patients and has spoken at a number of national conferences on the benefits of sharing notes for clinicians, patients, and caregivers. He works as a general pediatrician at the Gardner Packard Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center and as the director of clinical informatics at a digital health startup, doc.ai. Finally, he serves as the co-chair of the national workgroup, Protecting Privacy to Promote Interoperability (PP2PI), which examines issues of privacy and confidentiality in health information for the most vulnerable.
