This session will explore the factors that contribute to their susceptibility to abuse and human trafficking. Examples of abuse and neglect will be presented to illustrate the scope and severity of the issue. Additionally, the session will highlight advocacy efforts aimed at raising awareness and promoting the protection of individuals with I/DD.
