It has been 9 years since the viral spread of #MeToo and nearly two years since the “gender ideology extremism” executive order was issued. How has the collective conversation and research landscape around sexual harassment shifted during this time? In this talk, Vero Caridad Rabelo will draw on their research on race, sexuality, and power in organizations to help make sense of the current sociopolitical context around workplace mistreatment. They will spotlight intersectionality and critical whiteness studies as frameworks for advancing our understanding of inequality in organizations.
